I managed to get home a couple of hours early Friday afternoon before I had to be at my son`s little league game so I gave the truck a quick wash and fresh coat of #26 wax...looked fantastic!

The very next morning I ran my hand across the hood only to feel a million tiiny bumps....tree sap . The truck still looked awesome but knowing the tree sap was there was making me nuts. So this evening I did the clay bar and another coat of #26 just on the roof and hood. Once again, smooth as glass....until the morning.

My question is, can I safely clay bar every day or every other day if I reapply a wax coat? Does using the clay that frequently damage the clear coat? I use the quick shine lubricant very liberally.

My next purchase is a cover.

Great question!....If done properly I would feel like it couldn`t hurt too much...but EVERYDAY....Cut down the tree or park somewhere else I would go nuts with that.

Yes it IS driving me absolutely nuts. At least it is only for a few week period then the sap problem seems to stop.

Oh yea, the chainsaw is at the hardware store being repaired so it`ll be ready for some action REAL soon!
