This is my first post and am very serious about making my car a head turner (more then it already is). Here is my plan so far:

    Paint (Royal Treatment)

1: Eimann Fabrik - Powerwash+ (Wash down twice)

    2: Pinnacle Paintwork Cleansing Lotion

3: Pinnacle Clay Bar (Anywhere I feel bumps or imperfections)

4: Eagle One Scratch Remover (Where needed)

    5: 3m Imperial Hand Glaze

    6: Klasse All-In-One (1 or 2 coats, not decided)(help?)

    7: Klasse Sealant Glaze ( 3-5 coats, probably 5)

8: Pinnacle Paste Glaze (Overkill? or just making it look better?if so how many coats?)

    9: Pinnacle Souveran (5 coats)

    Tires, Alluminum, and Wheels

    1. Eimann Fabrik Hi-Intensity

    2. 303 Aerospace, Eimann Fabrik Black Opel, or Lexol Vinylex?

(Like the higher shine for my tires)

    4. Luster Pad

    5. Luster Seal Metal Sealant

    Interior

    1. Pinnacle Leather Cleaner

    2. Pinnacle Leather Conditioner

    3. Eimann Fabrik Clear Vision

    4. Plexus

Ok there is my long list, please help me decide on using both PPG and Souveran together and any other tips. Thank you in advance

Souveran on top of PPG is really nice. Once you get more than 2 or 3 coats of Souveran I think you will lose the effect though. Not that it is a bad thing, of course. 5 layers of Souveran is really impressive. Your car will look great. If you have access to both products then go for it. I wonder what it would look like if you did every other layer with PPG when you are putting on the Souveran....

You might want to clay before you PPCL. The clay will clean up most of the car anyway so the PPCL will just pick up whats left. It will also clean up any clay residue that is left over. Just an idea. It sounds like you have a pretty good system set up. How long do you think it will take you to complete all that?

    2: Pinnacle Paintwork Cleansing Lotion
<strong class=`bbc`>Use this stuff instead of #5. If you just want to strip what you have on your car before claying (good idea), spray your car with isopropyl Alcohol (IPA, "Rubbing alcohol") after washing and partial drying. [/b]
3: Pinnacle Clay Bar (Anywhere I feel bumps or imperfections)
    <strong class=`bbc`>Great! I`d use it on the whole car[/b]
4: Eagle One Scratch Remover (Where needed)
    5: 3m Imperial Hand Glaze
<strong class=`bbc`>All but useless! Almost no abrasive content! Use 3M Swirlmark remover #39009 or Meguiar`s #9 2.0 here. PC recommended. Follow up with AIO by PC if you have it.[/b]
    6: Klasse All-In-One (1 or 2 coats, not decided)(help?)
    7: Klasse Sealant Glaze ( 3-5 coats, probably 5)
<strong class=`bbc`>yummy! wait at least a few hours between coats[/b]
8: Pinnacle Paste Glaze (Overkill? or just making it look better?if so how many coats?)
    9: Pinnacle Souveran (5 coats)

<strong class=`bbc`>Higher shine = Black opal but it`s not known for being easy to work with. Try Zaino Z16 or Turtle Wax 2001 Tire Gel. [/b]
    4. Luster Pad
    5. Luster Seal Metal Sealant

    Interior
    1. Pinnacle Leather Cleaner
    2. Pinnacle Leather Conditioner
    3. Eimann Fabrik Clear Vision
    4. Plexus

Ok there is my long list, please help me decide on using both PPG and Souveran together and any other tips. Thank you in advance</blockquote>What kind of car do you have? Year, make, model, color? Welcome to Autopia and enjoy!

Jngrdbrdman and puterbum gave some great advice. I like TW tire gel for that high shine. It lasts for a few weeks. This Saturday I`ll post a picture of a tire that has been treated 3 weeks ago.

As Jngrbrdman said, if you have access to both Pinnacle waxes, go for it!

I had Klasse AIO, Klasse SG, Pinnacle Souveran, One Grand Blitz, and Pinnacle Paste Glaz on a 1992 beige Camry. Ah what the heck, here`s a picture...

After second coat of Pinancle Paste Glaz

Yes waxing from bumper to bumper is a good technique. It minimizes chances of swirling. I primarily use this method with paste waxes. For a liquid wax, I like to use the Porter Cable polisher.

I have a Red 1999 SS, there is a Black Z28 here and a 1997 Red SS. I think there are a few other Camaro`s but I can`t remember them right now. Anyhow, it`s good to see you F-Body guys here.

This is the order I would use your products:

1: Instead of Eimann Fabrik - Powerwash twice, use Dawn twice, saves money and gets more crud off your car.

2: Pinnacle Clay Bar (Anywhere I feel bumps or imperfections)

    3: 3M Swirl Mark Remover

4: Klasse All In One (one coat)

    5: 3m Imperial Hand Glaze

    6: Klasse Sealant Glaze ( 3-5 coats, probably 5)

7: Pinnacle Paste Glaze (Overkill? or just making it look better?if so how many coats?)

    9: Pinnacle Souveran (5 coats)

If you ask me, I would replace the Pinnacle product with a 3M Polish. The Pinnacle will fill/hide some swirls that will re-appear before your Klasse Glaze fades away, leaving you with a really protected surface and show some swirls. The only way to fix that is to strip everything off and start over which is a pain.

The 3M polish is abrasive and will fix them for good. From there you use All In One to remove and oils or fillers that 3M may leave behind (not much but enough). Then you use the 3M Glaze and go to the Klasse Glaze (5 coats is perfect). From there You can layer on the waxes but don`t expect a night and day difference. You will mainly notice how slick your surface will be but you don`t have a dark red or black care so the minor differences are hard to notice. I would think two coats of the Pinnacle Paste Glaze and two coats of Pinnacle Souveran is the max your car can handle, after that I really don`t think the difference would be noticable.

Joed, how would you address the concern some may have of Klasse SG not bonding to 3M Imperial Hand Glaze?

    Thanks!

I was under the impression it was chemical`s. I haven`t ever used the stuff.

If it won`t bond right, take it out of the setup, the wax after the Klasse Glaze would be enough to give it that "wet" look.
