For those that have experience with the P21S Paintwork Cleanser, what do you feel it is similar to? A close match to the performance/capabilities of PPCL?

How effective is it at removing fine, hairline scratches in the clear coat?

    Thanks.

Zymol HD-Cleanse is great stuff. Maybe a little better

then P21s. Never really looked at finish for scratch reduction

    though.

Well the wax has oils and that would hide the swirls for a little while. In some cases, they will re-surface after your first wash. It`s a very very short fix. Blitz wax does a good job of hiding swirls with just one layer, I washed my car once and quit a few of them came back to let me know they were still there hanging out.

PPCL is very fine. I use it as a follow up to FI. There isn`t much I can`t do without this staple of products.

You use the rubbing compound by hand huh? I would think you would use the most harsh product by machine and the least abrasive by hand. You know, work your way down.... whats YOUR reason behind this method?

You can use any of these products by hand or machine.

That stuff is way too agressive to use by machine IMO. It would be too easy to work it for too long and remove too much paint. If you have to use something that harsh you better do it carefully and "conservatively."

I rather just use a weaker product and use the machine... I take long enough as it is Puterbum, I know you can relate. What takes other people 6-8 hours takes me all day Saturday and Sunday, it`s a pain sometimes but the results make it worth it.
