Re: LSP for garage queen in lieu of Souveran?

So when I had looked up the address for Sonax, which was mentioned above, the Google street view showed a different company there. I just went back and those images were from 2019, and the company pictured has a different address now. So that means Sonax USA moved to that location well after the acquisition of PBMG, and maybe specifically to house the PBMG products.

I went to look in the store, and at Autogeek, both sizes of Crystal Mist are in stock (16 oz and 1 gal). However, before I went to AG, I clicked on the store link here at Autopia, and got this message:

    Down for Maintenance

We’re thrilled to announce that Autopia Car Care has merged with Autogeek! This merger brings together two leading names in car care, combining our expertise and extensive range of products to better serve you. You can now shop all your favorite Autopia products on the Autogeek website, where you`ll find the same great selection, fantastic deals, and exceptional service you’ve come to expect. Head over to Autogeek today to explore the expanded range of car care products and accessories!

I`d call that a concerning development for the continuing availability of this forum. (If I`m not being clear enough, the Autopia store is no longer there: https://www.autopia-carcare.com/ )

However, it could be good news about PBMG in general, it may be that they have decided on a path forward, doing their own warehousing/fulfillment, and streamlining the online stores. Also possible they are simply redoing the Autopia store to coincide with bringing the fulfillment in-house.

I use Adam`s Americana paste wax for show cars and garage queens. Also recommend checking out Poorboy`s World Natty`s paste wax.

Re: LSP for garage queen in lieu of Souveran?

Thanks for all the suggestions. I`ll look into them in the coming weeks. As for the show I have this weekend, I think I`m good as is. I have a small amount of Souveran left, and I did a small test spot, and then took the car out in the sun and could not see any difference between that spot and the adjacent paint, which had been wiped with Crystal Mist the week before. So I spent today doing other fun stuff for the show, like cleaning the whitewalls, a rather tedious task because it requires removing the fender skirts, and then taping plastic over the finned wheel covers to keep water (and water spots) off them when cleaning the whitewalls, which go right up to the rim. Yes, I could just remove them, but they are fragile, prone to falling off if not installed exactly right, and very pricey to replace, so I try to leave them alone as much as possible.
