    Led lights (flashlights) & detailing

So curious but also asking for discussion.
I know people use lights with detailing, Scangrip, etc. But they are used after the set. Wondering about `during`, with lights like Buff Bright Flamethrower. For those that used it, what were your thoughts, and do you still use it?
Also along the Flamethrower light of during, anyone use, or try, one of those "headlamp" style flashlights (led light on your forehead attached to a headband) and what were your thoughts?
Outdoors or in a well lite garage is fine, but when panels are shaded I would think a nice, bright constant light right on the work area during would be appreciated... but most of you have been doing this for years and pretty well tried everything to help. So wondering people`s thoughts and experiences that tried.

I have used the "headlight" and found it works best on interiors.

    Buff Bright Flamethrower:
The Buff Bright Flamethrower works great but you still need to wipe off residue to see your "final results.

Thank you for the response. I was looking at the Flamethrower, for when in areas not well lite up. Then was thinking about a headlamp because I could use it multiple ways, interior like you said, waxing, etc. And I could use it out at night going for a stroll. Winter is getting closer and we will have the sun setting by 5pm soon.
And like the point you brought up, wipe off still needs a separate led light to check work, so the above mentioned don`t really impact using a light like a Scangrip.

I`m also a big fan of the ScanGrip MultiMatch 3 with the ScanGrip Wheel Stand and a ScanGrip Diffuser for MultiMatch 3.

This is a great light direct for paint correction.
It is easy to move around on the wheel stand that is collapsable for easy storage and the ScanGrip Diffuser for MultiMatch 3 works great for LSP removal checking.

Those products look top notch. Expensive, but top notch. Like `Black Friday` wish list shopping items.

A little late to the party. But I just bought HF Bauer LED Color Match Inspection Light. Regular $40. I works well. I don`t have other inspection lights to compare to but it was better than LED flashlights I have. The trick is to hold light away from the surface and try different angles. Also try low vs high power.
