I`m getting my wheels refinished soon, and I want to coat them before I reinstall them. I have zero experience with ceramic coatings, so I`m looking for an easy to use product. What wheel coatings do folks here prefer?

Been using Car Pro`s Dlux on wheels, headlights and trim.

Would you classify Dlux as beginner friendly?
Had my eye on Gtechniq C5 based on these tests

My video was posted on DLUX. Some don`t like it because it can get tacky if left to long to wipe it off. But from my experience it will outperform C5 easily and Gyeon Rim. My personal favorite is 22ple VM1 but people don`t want to spend the money on it. t outperforms these and is very durable. Another easy one is the Adams ceramic wheel coating. I never tested it for longevity but it is user friendly and it`s initial performance looks good.
Be sure to get the wheels mounted and balanced before you coat them.

It does both and it is easy to use. C5 is a sheeter.

I think I`ll try out VM1 then. Is a 30ml bottle enough for one set of rims?
In your video on VM1 you mention that Dlux is more hydrophobic. Does 22ple make a slick/hydrophobic topcoat that I could use yearly to boost water behavior?
I would work smarter not harder. Use one of the many spray on rinse off coatings. It will get over every surface of wheels. And when it needs a boost, simply reapply. And once applied, you will just need soap and water to clean them.

I did that at first then got too lazy
Personal preference but I preferred to suffer 8hrs to coat wheels once then just wash/rinse `em off for the next year or so, every 2 or so years on `Summer` cars.
One less bottle on my shelf, one less step during my admittedly quick and occasionally infrequent washes.
Downside is that this Summer is a `recoat 4 sets of wheels` year.
