You from Hawaii??
yeah
Similar to you I take care of only my cars. My combo of Rupes 15, 75 and ibrid nano (long neck) work great for my needs. Cars range from a large suv GLS to smaller sportscar 4C with all others being in between those two. I have not come up against anything that I can`t handle (again just do my cars but still a perfectionist). I have used this combo for a couple of years. Nano comes in handy on the 4C since entire tub is exposed carbon fiber in the passenger area.
Rupes.... better quality, will probably stall less, out longer so gremlins worked out.
Only reason to buy the Adams over the Ibrid is price.....

Thank you for your response I have a rupes 15 mark 3, meguiars mt 300 and a griots g8 reason why i asked the question is because i noticed the meguiars is not very smooth and has a lot of vibration especially when compared to the rupes. I was wondering if the same applies here. I was just looking for a new tool to mess around with just for fun.
You can also look at proxxon mini they are a jewelry and fine woodcraft tool supplier
I don`t have experience with others, however the ibrid has been smooth for me. I bought the kit thing and bunch of extra pads in all sizes. One tip if you go this way, I wrapped the head of it in cloth tape so that if bump anything it`s not metal against paint. The batteries last plenty long (I have two, don`t know if ordered estra or kit came with two). There is also a corded attachment should you run-down the batteries and still need to use it.

I have both. Coatings/crack is correct, I have the Adam`s original version.
Tools are very similar in accessories that come with each one.
`Smoothness` is about the same with both machines.
The iBrid has a little bit more power, but I don`t know if that is that big of a deal in a `mini` polisher for me in the areas I am using it.
Balance I like the iBrid a little more, but again, nothing that is earth shatteringly different between the two.
Price, Adam`s has it all day long.
Hope this helps!

Flex is the biggest...you can get smaller backing plates and extensions for it. It is powerful. I LOVE mine.
