My wife and I still use it for all dusting, baseboards, and trim work in our home... just bought a gallon two month`s ago! Works great on kitchen cabinets and marble/granite/quartzite counter tops as well !

Just FWIW, and I`m sure not criticizing the use of FK425 for this, I switched my Household Dusting Product from QDs to RW with good results (besides the cost savings).
(Besides the way my QDs/etc. never leave my glass just right...) I figure that whatever it leaves behind will just get cleaned off by the use of regular Glass Cleaner, which I have to use most of the time because of, uhm...tenacious [stuff]...that always seems to get one `em. I have to use a razorblade scraper on some of `em...and that`s even when I clean `em with Zep40!Originally Posted by Pats300ZX

It never streaked for me on paint but I never tried it on glass. I have half a bottle left and haven`t used it in some time.
Treat it like it`s the only one in the world.
I still have a few gallons of #425 and a half gallon of #146 left. I still use 425 for wiping down door jambs, under the hood and trunk lids after a wash. Occasionally I use 425 on PPF while drying. I blow dry the vehicles as well as I can but the PPF always tends to have some spots and the 425 works well and leaves it slick.
146 I used a lot when I actually rode my motorcycle. I`d use it daily on my helmet to remove the bugs. I like to keep a small bottle of 146 and some microfibers in the cars to remove bird poo.
I still use 146, but mostly in the house. My black gas cooktop always has streaks when using any kitchen cleaner/degreaser so I finish off with 146 and a microfiber and it is spotless. It also works well on my black appliances. Just spray onto the microfiber and not the vertical surfaces. I learned that the hard way. I sprayed the face of my dishwasher and a small amount got on my tile floor. That stuff sure is slick with socks on! I nearly fell.

audicoupj- Ah, so I`m not the only person here who appreciates the FK146 after all! I dunno whether it`s *really* better than the QD-strength IUDJ (never did a side-by-side or anything like that..) but eh...it sure smells better to me.
I`ve found the FK146 can do a *TINY BIT* of concealing. Just enough to make the faintest marring less obvious, nothing miraculous but I do think I experience that with it (am I just imagining it? Dunno, these days I don`t spend time searching for dissatisfaction when something seems to be OK ).
I kinda want to mix FK425 and Beadmaker. It would possibly give me the slick feel with a slight gloss and protection aspect.

I`m slowly going through my gallon of FK425. Part of it went as a straight swap for some Beadmaker. I haven`t used Beadmaker since the initial try. Just didn`t do it for me. I guess I can revisit that one, but....
this is about FK425. I carry a small bottle with me and use it on the [more involved] detail jobs I do. Sometimes I use it over some wax. Almost always use it on glass as the final step before I tell the owner the car is done. I like it on glass. I don`t use it on paint as much as I would want to.
I`m still itching to try FK1000p, two layers, topped with their Pink Paste wax, and followed up with the FK425. I man can dream. haha.

At least 10 years ago (maybe longer?) this was the combination de rigueur on here when FK was THE hot product line. I thought it was a great combo when I used it and found it added a little darkness to my medium gray (Thunder Cloud) Toyota Land Cruiser. 425 seems to reduce static too. I`ve also got some FK 146, but haven`t used it lately. Supposedly has a bit of cleaning ability that 425 does not have?
