Can you blast water or air, from the opposite side of the radiator to push the debris out?

They sell fin combs and straighteners on Amazon.. Perhaps you can find something there ??

Just be careful to NOT bend the fins over, they are sometimes hard to straighten back out again...
    Good luck with this..

The best thing to do is soften the bugs so you could use a soft brush to coax them out of the fins. I know its a vertical surface but if you could wet a towel with car wash solution and then wedge the towel against the bug guts, you should be able to soften them up enough to gently remove them with a brush.

I like Stokdgs` option of trying to spray with air or water from the back as another or complimentary option. Car wash soak solution with light agitation followed by water sprayed from the back should address most of the bug guts.

This brush is designed for painting around fixtures like oil filled radiators, pipes, etc...
I like that it is really long, that will help, now we just have to hope the bristles are stiff enough to dislodge the bugs, etc..
Perhaps if he only has 1 direction to work from, the best bet is to try it dry first, and if no go, then wet the area and see if that helps..

I *assume* everybody has checked out The World`s Best Brushes dot com or whatever it`s real name is. IIRC it might exist on the net as Luddites dot come or somesuch, it`s a division of the folks who do the Lilliput Catalog.

(No, I sure wouldn`t touch my paint/wheels with the brushes they sell for such jobs...but the catalog is still work a peek IMO.)
