JustJesus- For me, that wouldn`t work...a temporary problem would still be too much of a problem. What, drive around for a few days waiting for things to play nice? Nah...the idea behind "Wash and WAX" is that it`ll turn out "like it was waxed".

Accumulator: Totally understand! I bought that soap with the intent of maybe using it once a month over the Wet Ice Over Fire combo. Just to keep things kind of fresh.
The [extra] rainy season we had in Southern California threw things off completely. It rained way more than usual in this drought town.
I`ll continue to use it as it does leave paint *looking* like it`s been waxed. Noticeable on the wife`s kia, VERY noticeable on the Jeep. [Oh dear. I haven`t done the review I`ve been meaning to - sigh]

And sheesh, between Water Regs and rain-or-drought you sure have your challenges!
