After years of drying with a towel I use nothing but a leaf blower. Sometimes I will dry the roof with a towel depending on the temperature. I’m drying 2 pick up trucks and a Highlander. The leaf blower works better for me

I use a leaf blower, and go back over it with a drying towel just to make sure I have no water spots.

Re: How do you Dry your car ?

When doing touchless washes I use the Ryobi 3000w leafblower.

When doing the 2bm wash. I use mf drying towels and sometimes I use the leafblower too. Depending on the weather and what I`m going to do after the wash. If I`m just drying the car and doing nothing afterwards I dry with mf drying towels. And if I going to ad some protection I use the leafblower to blow off the majority of the water off. Apply the LSP while it can still be some water droplets left. And also when I`m going to use the Tac System Tire Coat. I take out the leafblower to blow the tires dry. And uses it to blow dry the car at the same time.

Have my eyes on the Bigboi though. It`s not so ergonomic to use a leafblower to dry the car. Even if the Ryobi 3000w leafblower is light weight the horisontall surfaces is heavy to be drying it with. Have thought of DIY to attach a hose of some kind on the leafblower. And have it hang on the shoulder with some strap. Like the McKees 37 blow dryer. With the power from the Ryobi 3000w leafblower it would be very effective I think.
Have someone DIY a hose on their leafblower?

I’m all about my PFM towel these days. Haven’t used my Air Wand in forever.

Master blaster for cracks and crevices and drying towels like the PFM/ Dreadnaught. Usually a drying aid like the merlin mixture (Ech20/ Reload).

Gyeon twisted pile MF drying towel (silk dryer) or fireball twisted pile MF drying towel, both with or without drying aid. I do use leaf blower or water sheeting technique to get most water out and this is followed by gyeon or fireball. I moved away from normal MF very quickly once i discovered the twisted pile tech.

    Cheers
