Removing fresh water spots from *black* chrome

I got a brand new 2019 Lexus IS 300 the other day. Car is in perfect condition other than these water spots on the black chrome trim around the front grille! If vinegar isn’t touching them, what is the next step you’d try on this chrome that I believe is plastic?

I know my old Acura TL-S had black plastic chrome and the “black” top coating wore off and some spots became regular chrome.

Any mild polish should do the trick. I like Poorboys Pro Polish for those areas and it also works great on paint and regular chrome. Perhaps look into protecting it after. Any wax or sealant will do the trick but CarPro DLux will be a more durable and longer lasting solution. Ultima tire and trim guard is also nice for protecting that type of chrome trim.

An AIO might work and leave some protection behind. KAOI would be the least abrasive one to try, but any one should be fine.
