Re: Question about tipping after ceramic coating

Well, I just got my car back today and I couldn`t be more happy with the way it turned out. He did an amazing job. I`m kind of spineless when it comes to this sort of thing, and offered to pay their cost of new ceramic coating before I dropped the car off. I don`t know why I said this, because they actually charged me, not just for a 10cc vial, but 20cc. There`s no way they`d need 20cc for just a roof, hood and door when he told me before that 10cc was enough to do an entire car, but whatever. It was probably to help cover their labor costs for the extra work that needed to be done. It was worth it, though. This is the way I had hoped it would have turned out. Even though it doesn`t need to be washed, I`m looking forward to washing it. It`s going to be a joy with this coating on there!

Glad everything turned out to your satisfaction, but truly the process shouldn’t have been this time consuming and taxing on your nerves. I am glad you posted your experience here just to remind people that there are good and bad “professionals” out there.

Great! I`m really glad to hear that.

IMO (I know..unsolicited opinion ) ...you oughta work on that kind of stuff before it involves something more important than how a car looks.

It was frustrating and ended up costing me time and more money, I agree with you.

Trust me, there limits to my good nature. It`s difficult to get mad when you`re dealing with a nice person, though. I`m just not the yelling and screaming, causing a scene type.

    Going back to post #42....

Somethings wrong when you have a pro detailer with a 1 star rating on yelp(which is accurate), but is a authorized installer for one of the top brands in coatings....
Just saying. Dealer Regional MAP lock, etc -- Royalties are royalties I suppose
