How did it turn out. Colored car foam *for marketing*, is not only a thing at car wash places, but I`m aware of 2 detailers mobile that *set themselves* to be different for pics, by using heavy colored foam wash`s.
Anyhow, I was just thinking how me and the kiddo were removing the pits out of cherries and boy, did it take a washing or two for our hands to be not that red...and circled back to this thread
Repeating myself....if this PPF was on a darker car, the owner would not have noticed. PPF is absorbent....
I wonder if the soap bled underneath the ppf. It`s not difficult to lift edges during power washing.
What would be a Interesting test is to get some of said this *showcar-marketing`ish* colored soap and actually do a controlled test on PPF.
Both of which I have no interest in spending money to buy....but if someone has access to both, this would be a interesting lookey loo
dunno what psi or what tip angle ya`ll are using - but I have never lifted ppf on any of mine. Most of my ppf is wrapped on all edges. but even headlights where sometimes you can`t wrap due to film thickness and the contour , I`ve uet to ~lift film~
If PPF is lifting from PW, I would say PPF install-wise has got other issues going in..
Yep it shouldn`t be much of an issue if you`re careful
