    Cosmic V2 Questions.

So I am in the process of finishing up with Cosmic V2, and have a couple simple questions.

    1. When can I wash the car? I will wait for it to cure, but the PA website says nothing about washing. All the coatings I`ve used in the past say wait 7 days before the first wash.

    2. The important question. When can I apply High Gloss?

    Thanks
    Dave.

Their website says not to get wet or expose to heat for 24 hours. Not sure how fast you can apply hi gloss but I would not rush that. Let it cure out fully. It’s plenty glossy on its own. High gloss is amazing at amping up the shine. I don’t think you would need it for a few weeks but I’d certainly wait until after the first wash. Please check the high gloss advise I have given because it’s personl opinion. I didn’t see anything on the pa site.

Thanks JSFM35X! I agree it has plenty of gloss on its own, I am just a gloss junkie.

Hopefully Brandt will chime in, he has extensive experience with PA.

From what I understand, as soon as it cures you’re good to go with any maintenance.

    Re: Cosmic V2 Questions.

I just wanted to make sure. Most coatings say to keep it away from moisture for X amount of hours (to cure), but wait 7 days to wash. I just got finished with the whole process, and used the Cosmic Spritz to boost the curing. It probably will stay in the garage until Friday. I worked in sections trying to beat the heat. So if its cool I was planning on doing a quick wash this weekend to get all the dust out of the cracks, and put some finishing touches on.

    Thanks for the replies!

Not sure about the Cosmic, as I coated mine with CQuartz UK 3.0; but I waited a week before washing and applying the High Gloss. Love HG!!!!

I put on a coat of Viking Spritz the day after Viking Coat.
Done this several times. That is the way I understood the instructions.

I wouldn’t have any problem applying HG as soon as V2 cures. Kinda like Reload after CQuartz.
