    Most aggressive compound...

I`m looking for the most aggressive compound I can find. From my research it seems to be Scholl`s S0. Has anyone used this to verify it`s as aggressive as the description leads me to believe? Referred to as liquid sand paper. I looked at Meg`s 101, but I`ve tried several of the normal aggressive compounds including Griot`s FCC, Rupes Blue, CarPro`s Clear Cut. Long story, this paint is a nightmare. I don`t want to use wool and a rotary on it anymore.

No, the paint on my Camaro isn`t hard.

This is a Lexus that had everything except the roof resprayed, with what I don`t know. I didn`t even know they made paint this damn hard. The roof was a piece of cake, typical Toyota paint. The rest is a nightmare. I wet sanded the whole car by machine. Now none of the "heavy cut" compounds will remove the 3000 grit scratches.

3D compound cut aome pretty hard paint for me. Short work time but only needed 2 passes with it.

I used Cut+ on a rotary with wool on it. It gave some cut, not fast but it was cutting. I don`t know how much clear I have left so I`m hoping for a little more controlled cut if that makes any sense to you. I want to remove the sanding scratches and nothing past that. I ordered the Scholl`s S02. I think that should do it. I`ve got the 3D purple foam heavy cutting pads which I believe are made by Scholl`s so I`m hoping that along with everything else I`ve ordered for this car will take care of it. I got some 4000 grit discs as a last resort.

I thought about that one. If the Scholl`s doesn`t do it I might try that.

I can’t speak for S0 but I recently used S2, and it cuts like crazy. It reminds me of the old 3M compound from back in the day (including the dust), but it finishes down really well. I used it with a rotary and orange B&S pad.

I would give Poorboys Master Cut a try.
It`s got a long work time.

PM me your address and I can find some sample bottles to send you out some M101 and M100. That way you don`t have to invest too much money in the case they do not work.

The S2 was what I ended up ordering. They recommended using the S0 by hand. I`ve put way too much time into this thing to be doing anything by hand.

    Re: Most aggressive compound...

Menzerna 300 Cuts pretty aggressive for my on my boats gel coat with microfiber on my PE8 mini rotary, did a good job on the wet sanding marks left after I had my bottom repaired from shallow water rock chips. Got to go shallow if you want Bass but you are going to hit stuff. Also Optimum Hyper Compound worked very well but left heavy haze that a finish polish could not remove had to go with an intermediate polish.

If it’s that hard I’d go to 5000 sanding which should give you almost a Shine and cut your time finishing down.

    Re: Most aggressive compound...

The reason you dont want to use a wool pad and a rotary is the paint thickness?? Did I understand that correctly??
