Awesome that you got it sorted out! And what a generous man Dave is! This makes you believe in the world a little bit more. And what a relief to move on and make your car awesome.

When you get ready to talk about Coatings, we can all tell you our experiences with them..
For sure, the amount of product you put on needs to be applied in thin, even, coats, taking the time to look for high spots, where a lot of coating ended up, and smoothing them all out..
We can talk about it when you`re ready to go there..

If you decide to cost it I`ll give you a hand if I have the time. If not I`ll give you a little more in depth instructions and a couple applicators. EXO as a stand alone is a very easy application.
Thank you. I`ll let you know. It will likely be a while before I can try polishing the car again, and I would like to do that before putting a coating on. With the Sonax polish and a panel wipe solution I bought, things should go smoother next time.

i`m not sure if you got your car new or used, but i have a camaro with black paint that had a bumper replaced a few years ago. whatever paint/clear they used, no matter the fact they told me it was top notch, swirls every 3-4 washes for me while the rest of the car in stock paint/clear takes dozens of washes before i notice any marring. if it`s just one panel with this problem then it may have been repainted at some point.
