LashingStanely- When I first read that you scrub it with a BHB I thought "his trim isn`t as bad as what I start with..." but then when I read how the UTTG+ isn`t as good for you (as Wolfgang) on *faded* trim I rethought it..I bet it`s just another of those things where YMMV.
I seem to remember that Brandt tested a couple of products not to long ago regarding this subject. I think he also posted some pictures. You might try to contact him.

Just recently got some Perl from a co-worker (mjlinane) and mixed it 1:1 to test on tires and trim. So far I like the darkening effect after a day or two and it does not run like Megs hyper dressing. Seems to do better with multiple coats on tires and trim. Even did the engine bay - WOW! Next to try is Gyeon trim to make it last longer on the other vehicle.

No, no...change those assumptions
Heh heh...blame it entirely on my (comparatively elderly) self Part of my ridiculous post-count probably reflects the moments saved via acronyms/abbreviations, but that doesn`t make it right!
Let`s see...I can remember being 29, that`s when we got married!
BHB= Boar`s Hair Brush
UTTG+ = Ultima Tire and Trim Guard Plus
Eh, just wanted to try typing those out in their entirety...sheesh, too much work, back to BHB and UTTG+ Blame it on my advanced age (almost 58!).
Heh heh, I don`t even know which generation is supposed to know which catchphrases! I`m still talking about "handing out mimeographs" and "rolling down windows". I still use phrases like "dig", "feature", and "color me [whatver]..", still call certain guys "cats".Originally Posted by JustJesus

Owatrol Polytrol - the most effective remedy restoring black faded materials. The coating lasts up to one year.

I used the 303 Trim restorer. The trim wasn`t real faded. It did darken it to it`s original color. Can`t comment on color change on badly faded trim. But durability for a very reasonably priced product is incredible. It`s been over a year now and still going strong. The little bit I got on the door glass is still there as well lol. I didn`t bother removing it from the glass, I figured a couple weeks it would be gone.mnow I want to see how long it stays.
DaveT435- Huh, that *is* lasting a long time.
Would it clean off the glass easily if you wanted to bother? Wondering about if you got some on the paint....
Thanks for all the feedback. I used Solution Finish and so far really happy with results. Car is stored for the winter but had it out a few times as we are getting into spring here in Ontario.
