Foam cannon wash

Hello, about to dive into the world of car detailing in a big way. After rinsing the car, then using a spray foam canon - do you immediately wash using the 2 bucket method OR do you rinse the car first then proceed with two bucket cleaning. I’ve seen people do it both ways. Need help. My 2018 Macan arrives soon. Thxs

For me, it depends on how dirty it is. If I get one that`s really dirty, I foam, rinse, then foam again and two-bucket wash. Thankfully, those are few and far between

As stated above, it all depends on how dirty the car is. I reserve the foam cannon for absolutely filthy cars, especially with lots of road film/grime. A car washed weekly doesn`t even need two bucket if you do a good rinse on it, preferably with a pressure washer.

A Foam Cannon Wash should be viewed as a pre-wash for dirty vehicles as stated above
