3D YELLOW 106. I have tried quite a few, and this one rises to the top. Cleans tires with ONE application. Same with wheels. I will buy another gallon when I use it up.

Forgot I have used Optimum`s Power Clean APC in the past, but that was for tires and wheel wheels, not the rims. it`s not exactly inexpensive (AKA, cheap) at $35.00 per gallon, even diluted 3:1, BUT it cleans very well when others seem to fizzle. I think Scottwax had used it to clean some road marking paint from wheel well plastic that tripped my interest to buy it. One thing I do NOT like about OPC was cleaning fabrics or carpet floor mats. Did not like the industrial-odor that lingers for weeks! But then again it was REALLY not designed for that; Optimum has a carpet/fabric-specific clean for that car material, which I have not tried.

Anyway, thanks to ALL you Autopians who have responded about wheel rim cleaners. Your suggestions, opinions, and experiences matter to me and I will take them in advisement when considering my purchase for rim brake-dust cleaner(s).

I find the D143 to clean wheels/tirees much better than OPC, Poorboys APC, 1Z Blitz, and on.

Good feedback there, making me really ready to pull the trigger. BTW, what happened to ADS? I was looking to get a sample and it looks like they don`t do that anymore?

You are not the only one looking for (less-expensive) samples of the Meg`s Detailer Line to try out rather than having to buy a whole gallon of whatever car-care chemical is in that product lineup!
Auto Detailing Solutions (ADS) used to have a package of multiple (not sure of the number quantity) samples you could buy that included the specific Meg`s Detailer Line -marked (silk screened) bottle filled with that chemical and the (Tycko) sprayer nozzles. It was a great deal for detailing hobbyist. Now I see on their website they only sell polishing pads and detailing brushes and like items, but NO car-care chemicals.

Just bought a gallon of D143 for maintenance washes. Looking forward to using it and of course reviewing it...
