two what the hecks is this

this is some kind of tree sap, it wont come off with clay completely but enough to buff off, but I`ve also tried goof off and goo gone and neither wworked and i`m out of options it looks like at this point cause it needs to be done by Saturday. I`ve never come across any sap that has been this much pain in the rear.

and this is the vynal that is on the hood the brown stains wont come off with clay and it`s only on the hood vynal but not on any other vynal. i think its 3m vynal but not 100% on that. i`m thinking it may be browning from the heat of the engine.

any tips or ideas would be awesome

Baking soda and water, make a paste. Let it sit on the spots and wipe gently

Try taking sanitizer and letting it dwell on the sap...the alcohol will usually break it down

Looked up shotgun fungus online and it seems to be what it is, and the reoccurring theme to remove is with hot water and soap. I wonder if steam may help with this, at least I know in what direction to go now. Thanks Shawnf350.

I would also inform the customer to get rid of mulch near where they park ( if it`s at their home) or park away from mulch beds.
I had it all over my old house and gave up trying to remove it.

There`s certain mulch that doesn`t get the shotgun.
The problem will continue until th mulch is removed.

In a pinch, I`ve heard Mayonnaise works.

    ShawnF350:
There is a product called Wet and Forget Bleach-Free, No Scrub Mold & Mildew, Moss & Algae Cleaner | Wet & Forget that might "solve" the problems you are having on your house with this fungus. This is not designed for use on vehicles, BUT it is for use on vinyl roll-up shade awnings found on RVs that suffer from mold and mildew when rolled up after becoming wet from an unexpected rain storm or foggy or humid day. This is a real "problem" I see on a lot of RV awnings when they rolled out because the owner "forgot" to unroll it and dry it out and clean it or was simply unable to do so because of weather conditions .

Trust me on the baking soda, my wife works for a landscaper and I do his cars. It always works!
