If you have purchased a new vehicle in the last 36 months, are you waxing it by hand or with a machine?

I would never wax by machine. To afraid that if a spec of sand got in there I would ruin the finish I just polished.

By hand you can feel it easier and see if before too much paint goes by.

if I had one that new i would probably be waxing by hand after a good coating was applied. i think that i could be talked into using Griots Garage 5 Inch Lithium-Ion Random Orbital Polisher for waxing pretty easily though.

Six of one and half dozen of another. Do what works best and produces the best results. Some people are afraid of machines as far as polishing and sealing. I use my rotary almost exclusively to finish up. It is imperative as 95 percent of the cars I do are black. The more trashed the finish is the better day I have. I surcharge for trashed finishes.
