Re: How many of you use a MACHINE to WAX your vehicle?

I hate doing waxes by hand, smearing back and forth as well as circular motions. I thought the machine would ease the process and my most important concern, time and efficiency, but I found that it took me about the same amount of time. I`m not seasoned enough I guess.

Only thing that appeals to me is spray waxes but they`re no where far in the durability department. Love the look of AW for eg., but again durability.

I wish that spray waxes evolve to bring in a new era of superior stunning looks with uncompromising durability.

I too am a `fan` of Aquawax, but also question it`s durability...Consider using a DG base for longer term protection and Aquawax as a more frequent topper - and/or even washing with DG rinseless with AW?

I like to because I can do the whole car fast and even, come back and remove.

I find that the different motions/effort involved with the machine are a lot more to my liking that what I do manually. Back when I had a shoulder issue, I simply couldn`t do it by hand but could do it by machine. And I can`t help but think that even when "just waxing", all those orbits just might be of some benefit compared to how many times I "work the wax" (yeah, scare-quotes intentional...) when doing it by hand. Especially on vehicles with imperfect paint (microfissures, pitting/etc.).
