After hearing everyone`s different method of cleaning mf,`

I wonder why I have not heard a specific suggestion.`

    `

Why does no one spray their mf out with a power washer?`

    `

This works great for me. `Yes, `I wonder if it would degrade the fibers.`

I don`t think this damages them, and it is a great cleaning method.`

What do you set the towel on top of when you do this?

`[I`ll pretend I still have a functional pressure washer `]

    `

WilliamWallacesWashAndWax- Do you suspend them from a mat-holder clip or somesuch?` I`d worry about blasting them across the shop.` And while I generally consider MFs to be pretty tough, I do wonder if that kind of treatment might be detrimental somehow.

    `

Eh, being all about making my life as simple and easy`as possible, I think this would be a lot more work than merely prespotting with APC and tossing them in a pile before finally tossing them in the washer.` But then maybe my infrequent-detailing amateur situation is very different from how things go in a Pro shop (or even more`serious hobbyist settings where somebody is doing a lot more of this stuff than I am).

Jean, this came about from me just standing on a mf

And spraying it on the roof of an Rv. `It worked great.`

    `

I have some coca Cola crates to put them in to spray,`

But not sure how it works, `yet.`

    `

Accumulator, using this method really cleansed the embedded`

dirt that was in the MF. ` I also thought of this minimizing`

the chemicals that go into my washer. `

    `

I thought that this would be something that my helper could`

do at the end of the day, `to ease my work load. `I also found that i

wasted lots of Apc with my old wash method. ` Don`t know which`

is cheaper Apc or gas. ` Regardless, `if towels are cleaner, `that`

trumps cost of method, `because cost of quality is premium.`

www-willywallywashwax- [hey, I find the new user-name easier to key in, especially if I skip the caps!]` If I ever get another pressure washer I`ll have to give it a try...yeah, putting it on soda/mild crates is a great idea!` Heh heh, I`feel sheepish that I didn`t think of it right away.

Now what would *really* make a diff for me would be having one of those "helpers"

Helpers inflate your earnings per hour.

If I do an Rv with 3 people, and it takes 2 hours, that is 6 man hours. We can assume that it would be a little over 6 by ones self because it is harder solo. If I get 200 for an Rv, and I pay my guys 12 an hour, that only costs me 48 for their work, and I get the 152 left over. For 2 hours of work that computes to 76 an hour.

If I did the same rv myself (6 hours), then I earn 33.33 an hour.

Where you really gain is I can do 3 times as many rigs in the same 6 hours. This would be 3 times 152 for a 6 hour profit of 456 rather than 200 for solo work.

These numbers are pure estimates, but they show how having Helpers "helps".

I just need to utilize them more, because I am use to doing everything myself.

wwww-Willywallywashwax- Oh yeah, that`d sure beat doing it all yourself.
