Been here since 2006. `Occasionally check in to see what new products are coming out. `The products and stuff now is very different than in 2006! `

    `

Besides my Werkstat Prime, I`ve new products for just about everything now. `The current coatings and sealants last a lot longer so I don`t need to detail as often. Nanoskin mitts make "claying" much faster and easier than before.

    `

Looking forward to see what the future brings!

I can`t believe I have been around since Nov. 2006.

No looked very much lately, been over at Garage Journal.

Obviously, I still check in occasionally.

    Keep up the good work.

I still enjoy using the 3D products.

Since 2004 when we bought a new Sequoia.

    That`s been three cars ago

Son (high schooler at time) turned me on to the site and corrupted me.

Since 2004. This place was invaluable when learning the ropes, starting my detailing business etc.

Have to admit I generally only read machine polishing section and click and brag these days.

It`s funny I quit detailing for money this year and it`s actually renewed my passion for this hobby. I find myself poking around and reading here much more often.

Been a member (and lurker) since early 2003. (Where the heck did THOSE 11 years go?) Spent so much time reading and learning over the years, this is my first post. Best detailing information and most knowledgeable detailing experts anywhere are right here on Autopia. Been sidetracked by other priorities the last few years, but picked up a new (to me) ride recently, so I`m back to continue my education.

Gotta say though - still a good forum but it`s just not the same as it once was. too commercial
Which detailing forum isn`t?? Autopia seems to be the least. Plus you can say anything about any product without fear of censorship (anymore).

Here as well.` Learnt a ton, then went away for a while, and occasionally came back.` I have schooled endless people on the in`s and out`s of paint care, analyzing their finishes and detailed many, many cars for friends and family pro-bono...

Checking in!` Here since Aug 2008.` Learned a lot.` But have been lurking off and on these forums in the past 3 years.` But still keeping up the dedication of maintaining two close-to-swirl-free daily drivers (mine and wifey`s).` For the most part, I haven`t changed the methods I`ve learned here since 2009, except maybe adopting the GDWM recently.

Totally agree. The simple fact that you can talk about any product imaginable makes this a great forum. I`ve never gotten a "commercial" vibe from it at all either

It`s nice to see that members who aren`t posting all the time are still here.
