I just purchased a New Callaway Camaro, It is Black and a very Nice Car. How do I start taking care of it? What are some of the first things I need to do to keep the car looking good for years to come?

How much time per week are you willing to sacrifice? How often can you take a day to spend time cleaning the car? Where is it parked?

The Car is Garage Kept, I could spend pretty much as much time as I need to on it.
Garage kept is great. You`ll be able to use products that go for looks. Do you have any products already? Do you have a DA polisher?
Yes, I have a Griots D.A and some Blackfire sealant.
Ageed, incredible car!
Concentrate on making sure the paint is in perfect condition and that you maintain it to it`s highest level. Wash it carefully and keep a good layer of sealant on it and you`ll keep it looking perfect forever. Also, make sure to regularly give the interior a wet wipe each time you wash your car and it will remain supple and clean.

Not big on paint sealant for a garage kept limited use auto. That car would have the best carnuba wax on it (imo).. The sealant take some of the luster away. The choice is yours. yes, you get the most protection from sealant but what is it really? It`s almost like another layer of clear when you break it down. If you keep a garage kept limited use beauty all waxed up it`ll clean up the same way a sealed car will when done right.
washing and drying... two bucket method, grit guard in place.. Pressure washer thorough rinse 1st, then soap foam cannon of some sort, wash, leaf blower done. Black is a Love hate Affair all day long lol..
ask me how i know
need some more pics of the car bro.. Best of luck with it, beautiful car.
Agreed regular washing 2 buckets with grit guards would be the most important part IMO nice car tho

Great choice man. I hope that thing will see a drag strip or some track time occasionally.
In regards to detailing, just learn to wash it with a proper technique and keep it waxed up and you`ll be good to go.
Which Callaway package is on it?
It is the 572hp Package, It will probably see some trac time!!
