Hey guys
Will be going on a massive trip with my brother in a week to the US. We`ll be starting in New York and finishing in LA and figured i`d take advantage of the lower price of things such as polishing pads and buy some while i`m there. Could you guys recommend a store where i can buy good quality products such as LC pads over the counter? Will be passing through OH, IN, NY. CA, MN, UT, NV, ID and PA.

I would suggest checking in at the 3D Headquarters in Santa Clarita, CA.
3D Car Care - Car Wash, Car Wax, Auto Detailing supplies, Car Polishers, Car Buffers & accessories store
They will be more than willing to give you a tour of their manufacturing facility and give you some samples of popular products. Nice to see how products are produced. I would contact Ben @ Autopia to set something up.

Autoality is a must!!! They have more brands than you can think of and their prices are spot on with any online company and sometimes cheaper. T. Eric owns the place and is a great guy! As you know, they are in PA so it fits your schedule/stops.
3D would be cool to stop in. I like the HD polish and HD Speed so definitely pick a handful of that stuff up!

Chemical Guys is in Los Angeles (well, technically, Inglewood, which is a suburb of LA) right next to LA airport.
South of LA, in Orange County, Detailing.com in Irvine and the Carnuba Store (a.k.a MAR-CO Distribution, a.k.a. Detailing Depot) in Costa Mesa are worth checking out.
And any gearhead visiting the So Cal area on a Saturday will probably want to wake up early and go to Cars and Coffee in Irvine too.
