I was emailed by the author to provide some insight into the world of high-end detailing, and the article just went live. I`m hoping they`ll add some of the pictures I sent for the article, and while it`s not too long, it`s a nice quick read. Check it out:

Is this the T/A you went off to work on the day we met at Hockeytown?

I`m confused - are the pictures in the article of you or the detailer in London? Either way, cool article and good work.

That is exactly what I thought of when I read through it. It`ll show potential customers the quality in this type of work, and that if they read it on a site thats more mainstream like that one it`ll be good for business

The article is great. Your photos are excellent for showing what is capable, especially pointing out that a new car can still be improved.

While it is great to demonstrate the potential of a high end detail, showing what is capable on a more limited budget is also important. It`s very easy for the average person to see write ups like this and think "That`s great for a millionaire, but I`ll never be able to afford that." We all love to see the results of a 30 hour detail but John Q. Public would probably relate better to a quatlity 10 hour detail and have them seeking out a detailer for their own ride.

The cars look amazing. It must take a lot of practice to get to that detail.

Excellant! I wish every customer that just thinks we wash and wax cars could see what REALLY goes into a detail!

The pics from the direct article are the dude in London - they made a separate gallery for our pics. Were you ever contacted by the author? I might have done a little name dropping when talking to him... :whistle1:

Hopefully, or at least that`s the goal. No matter what, more recognition for this style of work is great for all of us.

Thank you! Great thinking as well, as it was also a concern for me. I know they wanted it to be about high-end detailing on exotics, but I made sure to talk plenty of "the norm" as well, and how it`s beneficial to owners of all different cars. They originally wanted pics of work being done all on one car, but I was able to convince them to allow multiple cars with similar work, so I could show a couple of exotics that turn heads, as well as a classic (which is somewhat of an untapped market for us), and a "daily driver" M3. I wanted the public to know that while this is performed on exotics, more common cars also have this type of work done to make a massive difference in their appearance.
