Every time I use my 6" DA i can get the wax or polish applied really well, but when it comes to wiping it off with a microfiber towel It is nearly impossible it dries on to were I have to scrub it off or It leaves awful streaks on my hood and trunk. Any solutions out there?

    Thanks

Try spraying it with a quick detailer or Cold water really does the trick for streaks.

How much wax are you using? A regular sized car should take about 1/4-1/2oz.

Some polishes are just a lot easier/harder to buff off than others. I like to use Meguiar`s M34 when buffing off tenacious ones as it provides a little more lubricity than plain water (or IPA).

Waxes oughta buff off easily as long as you a) don`t use too much (I`d use even less than Yakky recommended) and b) apply onto a decently prepped surface (smooth, clean, etc.).

Sounds like you are using way too much wax. And to be quite honest, you should be able to apply wax a lot faster by hand and control how much you are applying anyway.
