What the hell can you do to this style of wheel to improve on it. I`ve got a client in particular with anodized volk racing wheels..and I promised him some results..

His wheels are starting to fade..now, I`ve done refinishing work to wheels before, (thinking about including the service to my detail biz) a set just like these, where I sanded the wheel down primed it and painted it a glossy color. What I wondered is..from what I read they cant be polished back to original form, can they be sanded?? or anodized wheels are just a no go.

From what I understand, and i have a client who bought/went through 3 sets of anodized rims for his NSX, they are not something that can ever be re-touched. They scratch very quickly and should be washed gently with soap/water and a MF sponge and then blown dry (or blotted dry, not wiped). My client went through various professional detailers and Cincy`s local rim-repair specialists and all of them said "you`re boned if they get scratched."
