Tring to figure out best wash media.(most delicate less prone to scratch paint)

    My Infiniti manual says..

.● Avoid using tight-napped or rough cloths,

such as washing mitts. Care must be taken

when removing caked-on dirt or other foreign

substances so the paint surface is not

    scratched or damaged.

I am a big fan of SM Arnold water sprite have used it for years with excellent results for drying but Infiniti rec. using a sponge for washing I like using the no cuff one open end Sm Arnold spun gold wash mitt any advise ???

Listen to the manual with regard to avoiding rough cloths and also when it says to take care not to mar the paint. Ignore the part where it says to avoid "washing mitts" categorically.

As to what wash media are best, well....opinions vary. I do my initial passes with a BHB and follow up with a mitt; usually sheepskin but sometimes MF or even cotton chenille. Whatever you use oughta pass the CD-test and from that point on it`s basically a matter of technique (and to a greatly lesser extent, using a good shampoo).
