After polishing a vehicle it looks nearly perfect. The lights don`t reveal any swirls so it`s out the door. Most of the pictures I see posted are shot from several feet away or at a 90 degree angle to the car. Looking directly down at a 90 degree angle most polished paint looks great-sure you`ll notice a few rids but overall it looks great. Moving from that 90 degree position to a lower 45 degree position opposite of your light source may reveal a different situation. This lower angle allows one to see the plane of the paint surface and can reveal pitting and rids that otherwise might go unnoticed.
