i bought my truck last year, and i have rotated the wheels/tires twice.

since one was after winter, there`s some built up brake dust on the inside of the wheel.

i recently purchased CG diablo wheel cleaner but havent used it yet. so if more agitation is needed, can i use #0000 steel wool to lightly break it up ??

just wondering........thanks for any and all help

I *don’t* think you’ll have to resort to steel wool, but if you do be wary that you might have to follow up with some metal polish to take out the marring it induces.

I was left with tiny scratches after using the #0000 steel wool, and they weren`t that easy to completely remove.

please do not use #0000 steel wool on your wheels it will scratch your wheels and result to using a buffer to get the scratches out.
