How bright of a Halogen Light do you use?

My Craftsman halogen eats bulbs like I can`t believe, while my crappy old cheapie never needs new ones :nixweiss

Crazy...seems like maybe the got screwy with the wiring with some of them...Do you make sure you turn the lights off before you unplug it? I think that could make them blow early. Used mine again tonight with no problems...hope i got one of the `good ones` as ive seen about as many `i love my craftsman light!` as i have `it eats bulbs like crazy and i hate it!` posts/reviews.

Yeah, it generally only gets plugged in/unplugged once, just moved around otherwise.
