    If I run out of the quick detailer as the lubricant, can I just use water mixed with car wash soap? Or will end up scratching the car?

    I think that a car wash soap solution is fine.



    I have read that soap may damage the clay over time. I don`t know if this is true.

    Some clay/shampoo combos work better/worse than others.

    f$ck it Ill just go pick up more quick detailer. dont wana risk scratchin the paint even more

    you could grab some ONR if you want some really economical clay lube.
