2 years ago, I mounted a European License plate over clear bra film on my front bumper using foam super-strength double sided tape. I was able to remove the plate from the bumper using a heat gun and did not ruin the clear bra application. I am left with a few strips of foam tape backing on my clear-bra`d bumper.

Is there a good adhesive chemical remover I can use to remove it that won`t take the clear-bra with the foam tape residue? I have 3M General Adhesive cleaner and used that on painted surfaces but not sure if its safe on the clear-bra film.

That`s going to be a tough one. 3M adhesive remover is not safe on clear bras. Let us know what works, because I don`t have an answer for you on this one.

Premier(clear film guys) have a cleaner I use called TTR and is fantastic for this sort of problem. Premier Protective Films International (aka Premier Mobile) clear bra, paint protection film, tint, auto tint, safety film, chip paint, kits, custom, car
