    I have a few scratches in my rear quarter panel of my Corvette.. i need info on how to get them out without hurting the paint, they look like their in the clearcoat

    Well can you feel them with your fingernail? "Scratches" is a very broad term, believe it or not

    Lol, no matter what you do, you`re technically hurting the paint because you remove some when you polish it

    If you can`t even feel them with your finger nail, you could probably get away with just using a little bit of Meguiar`s Scratch-X, and buff them out by hand. Just remember to read the instructions, and use as directed.

    That`s amazing, it works great on TV, let me see if I can find an appropriate smiley... :shocked:shocked



    Try some Blue Magic metal polish on a soft cloth and go over it with some wax. If it`s just a small scratch that should get you to the point where it`s very hard to see and if it`s more than that you probably shouldn`t be cutting that deep anyway.
