I have a 2004 4Runner Sport and I am trying to figure out how I can make it look its best for as long as possible. I am in El Paso, TX so it gets very windy and very dusty and the weather really wreaks havoc on a black car. I was thinking about getting the paste Souveran, but the oils would attract dust like a magnet. (but it sure would look good until then...lol)

Anyway, I just want something easy and effective that will really make this 4runner look its best. Also, if I go with #26 liquid, shuld I polycharge it?

    Thanks!:thx

I`d go with #26. However, I`d do a layer of M21 first, wait 12-24 hours and then do a coat of M26. This really adds to the wet look. M21 makes it reflective...M26 makes it deep...together it makes it dripping wet. This was my favorite combo by far when I had a black car.....and it lasts pretty long too which is good for a daily driver.

Edit: Sovereran Paste would possibly look a little better, but it wouldn`t have the durability for a daily driver that I would want.

#26 will last longer and is pretty easy to use. Souveran is nice looking but dosen`t hold up compared to alot of other waxes out there. at least their paste. I haven`t really tried out their liquid version yet. I really like DP`s Max Wax or Danase`s Classic wax myself. Both are super easy on and off and both last pretty comparable to other waxes (4-6 weeks on average)

Both #26 and Souveran are great beauty waxes. Go for a good sealant like Blackfire, it just sheds dirt and dust.

Which one is more forgiving to imperfections? It is an 04 and has a few swirls and scratches. (I dont have a polisher so I do everything by hand)

Go with Collinite 915. Looks great on black and will last a long time.

I am a huge P21S fan and just tried Collinite # 915 for the 1st time because I wanted some long term protection for winter. Not as easy as P21S to remove but the look is close if not same for my Black Magnum

Use the #21 Sealant, then the next day apply #26 Wax. Pretty solid combo right there.

Liquid Souveran would work great or even the paste version.

Also a few sealants would look great on your black 4runner

Liquid Souveran lasts way longer than the paste. It shines somewhat better than Megs #26. But, it`s also way more expensive.

Somewhat better? Is it a totally different look? I know the new liquid souveran laso has polycharger in it. Will that make it last significantly longer or change the look?

I guess that depends on your taste, Shiny is great on silver or white, deep and wet is great on black.

And what does #26 do? if I go that route, should I polycharge that too? Does it make a difference?

#26 is deeeeep and pretty wet. #16 is the one for lighter colors. On darks, it looks like you laminated the paint.
