Hi. I have ghost marks from bird doo doo and bug splatters. The guts and things are cleared up but now i have a clear ghosted mark. compound won`t remove it. what can i do to remove it? it seems to be etched in the paint or something

    Thanks!

It *is* etched into the paint. The only way to fix it is to get more aggressive. For bird bombs you`d often have to wetsand and that might thin the clear too much. I`d just live with it, that`s what I do.

But I`m surprised you can`t polish out the bug splatters. Bird bombs I can understand, but bug marks always polish out pretty easily for me :nixweiss

Note that some LSPs resist such stuff a lot better than others, and the ones that work well/poorly in this regard aren`t always what you`d expect.
