I thought I might share with you fellow detailers what tools I use in my quest for a perfect wash and dry. I have Grit Guards but I also use stainless steel colanders that fit into a 5 gallon bucket. The grit falls through the holes and stays there. I also use basting or pastry brushes for washing and detailing. The brush is housed in a rubber cover and the handle is rubber also. I use a vegetable brush for the tires. I do a lot of shopping in the kitchen department of stores. Whatever it takes to keep a car clean! I also use a motorcycle air blower to blow off water. It is a Metropolitan Metro Blaster Side Kick. It weighs around 3 pounds and comes with a rubber blower nozzle and a fan shaped nozzle.

This Forum is the best! Thanks for all the information everyone gives.
