    Best Inexpensive:

    NXT Tech Car Wash

    Gold Class Car Wash

    NXT 2.0

    QID (Quik Interior Detailer)

    UQW (Ultimate Quik Wax)

    UWD (Ultimate Wheel Detailer)

    Meguiars NXT Glass Cleaner

    Stoners IG

    Leather Masters products

    Worst Expensive products:

    P21S 100% Carnauba

    Wolfgang Fuzion Estate Carnauba

    Souveran Paste Wax

Not that these products are what I`d call bad, just way overpriced/overhyped per their performance.

    Best inexpensive:

    Werkstat Detail Sprays

Most of the Meg`s Detailer line

303 Fabric/Vinyl cleaner (many uses, highly dilutable)

    Worst expensive (or niche):

Zaino ZFX--can`t tell any difference when I use this $20 for nothing

Collinite 476 and 915--insane wax holograms with 2nd layer

Black Wow--most any gel-type tire dressing will do the same thing for much less

Stoner IG--nothing special at all about this stuff. I don`t understand why people like it so much.

Lexol products--highly touted, but mediocre performing from my experience.

How are/were you using 476/915? They can be a little finicky, but between the two I`d say they are (ime) the best bang for the buck out there. Just curious about your experience.

    Premium product

    Zaino Z5

It is not exactly bad but I have found products that get just as good or better results for cheaper

-and actually, I think when gold class wax first came out it was $14 at my local auto store -Either way, I remember thinking it was a premium price considering my budget.

-Not a fan of Hyper Dressing?? Just curious as to why?

I`ll admit it`s not the BEST but it seems to be a great value -plus- I can fine tune it to give me the correct shine. (which for me is practically matte)

Do a search on the hologram problem. There are posts out there on this topic. I like them for the 1st layer, but the 2nd layer always seems to do this to me.

Worst premium product? "Zymol" cleaner wax.

Yes, there`s a story behind it, but it`s still got the prestigious name written all over it, so I feel it`s relevant.

Best cheap product? Simple paint prep, wax/silicone remover solution like prep-sol. Heck, even 3M Adhesive remover is excellent.

I have quite honestly never seen that, but I don`t touch turtle wax products anymore. I really hope they just decided to re-package somebody elses wax, like collinite, and call it their own. For their own sake I hope it`s true.

As you can tell, Turtle Wax has lost all credibility with me. If you look into the product I mentioned in my post above, you`ll understand. Search for "Zymol Turtle Wax cleaner wax."

It`s just one of many products from Turtle Wax that I have had more than just a bad experience with. Also, considering many experiences of other uses, my claims are not unwarranted. Perhaps I will eventually be proven wrong, though? I`d like that to happen.

I wouldn`t be so quick to judge, I know their platinum paste has a loyal following.

All you need is one coat:LOLOL, especially with 915. Any additional coats right after will only overload the paint.

    Speaking of carnaubas...

Expensive overated: Zymol Concours, Souveran, Lusso.

Inexpensive and possibly the best carnauba for the price bar none: 915.

Personally 915 will outlast almost any carnauba wax out there, plus the look is great.
