Just curious as to what you are charging and anything else you`d like to toss in about them. I think most are painted with Imron.

I`ve done a few tow trucks that had fiberglass shells. Not sure if they are made of the same materials or not. And I just treated them like a Large SUV + $50 for my pricing. Wasn`t sure how tocharge either but I was fine with it.

I`ve heard of some Semi detailers charging by the foot. I think this usually only entails when they actually do the box trailer too though.

I do semi`s all the time. For a simple wash/wax on a day cab (not sleeper) it`s around $200, if it has a sleeper, $400.

Today, most are painted with a basecoat/clearcoat finish, not imron.

I would say its a mix of BC/CC and SS paint. I spray both on semis all week long.

You got a lot of work ahead of you.

I did one last year and charged $720. That was interior, engine, one step polish and LSP and polish metals. It was one year old and was for resale.

I have two that I do regularly. I charge by the hour for about everything these days. The hardest part about the two I do is polishing all of the chrome and aluminum, and dealing with bug gut build up.

I`ve done a few as well. Price per hour fairly and you shouldn`t have a problem.
