advertise in the newspaper? does `door to door` work? windshield flyers?
My family also owns a car wash in Mars Hill, NC! I work there and detail on the side haha I recently bought a new car with all the money I saved, if your not into detailing for friends and family I would rethink it!

Personally when I see a flyer I get kinda mad if its on my window. That`s just me though.

the hotel idea is a good one.. so far, all of my business has been on craigslist. the owner of a pharmacy called me and had me detail his BMW X5.. he liked my work so well that he then allowed me to detail his all original 67 Shelby Cobra! now i detail all 12 employee vehicles at the pharmacy on a weekly basis. so that is my first `steady` customer base..

1.) it is against the rules to post your contact information
2.) it sound like you guys have a lot to learn(as do most of us)
3.) I think it would be best for you to spend a little time here reading and leaning and asking questions
4.) there is a ton of info and great detailers here who woud be happy to help you out
well that is what i am here for.. to learn. i am fairly good at what i do, but i do have alot to learn. what contact info did i post? in my avatar? i will remove that if it is a problem..

Hey Dustin... thanks for posting your tips. Sounds like you have the start of a nice business....
Good Luck!
Dustin man we`re going to have to talk here soon... Read through the forums as much as you can before you come back to this. You`re making alot of rookie mistakes on here already. No biggie but before the verbal lashing begins just read.
