    hey all, two questions

First is what can I do to protect what I think is stainless steel? This is on a bike (as in bicycle) that`s kept outside 24/7. I doubt it`s chrome, and is one of those you get at Toys R Us or Costco, so I bet it`s stainless steel.

Second, what can you do to seal up plastic headlights? I use plastx on it periodically, but the just new look doesn`t last long. I know there are plastic sealants, but I rather use something that I can use for other things as well. Would DG be good?

    thanks

Maybe something like Zoop Seal (you`ll have to search on it, sorry). Or else layered sealant (I`d use KSG).

I`d probably try the layered KSG for that too, and the DG might be about the same :nixweiss

Your rims probably aren`t stainless steel (never heard of that before), aluminum alloy is more likely. If you have caliper brakes there`s really no way to "protect" the rim without affecting stopping power. Use Simichrome to clean them up periodically.

I use Optiseal on headlights. Add a quick cleaning with Plexus after every wash and you should be good to go.
