I have and use both. While I could keep my carpets clean w/o my Little Green Machine (rinsing would take longer), I could not without my wet/dry vac. A wet/dry vac with strong suction is such a valuable tool when detailing. The suction on the LGM is just not comparable.

Yeah it is. If you want to look at it just type in their example format.

IMO, they have slightly different uses. A LGM is an extractor, which allows for a bit deeper cleaning of carpets and such, and helps remove stains etc. A shop vac is a vacuum.

    I would get both.

thanks guys, the link should of went to LGM...but i dont think the model is with heated water...but what i am gathering is the suction is much better on a wet/dry.. so i guess i can just scrub manually for all intent purposes.. looks like i may go with the rigid..

I had the LGCM and returned it after a couple uses. I didn`t find it did any better at cleaning and it was a hassle to use compared to my shop vac. If you want an extractor then save up for a real extractor imho but I find I can do just as good a job with a shop vac then I can with the bissel.
