    I need recommendations regarding product and technique for removing minor scratches from a windshield.

    Its really easy! Call up your glass guy, they come around and put a new windshield in, takes about 30 minutes.



    Kidding aside, polishing glass will make it distorted and is only really a viable option of replacement glass does not exist.

    Eastwood Co. also carries a windshield scratch repair kit.

    Thanks everyone for taking time to reply. On another forum, someone recommended going to a custom glass/mirror company to get a compound or have them do it because they polish out scratches on glass and mirrors everyday. I am pursuing this option and will apprise you of the results.

    Very few shops want to even bother with scratches, they would rather put a new windshield in, I have Geico on both my cars and with Wind. insurance with no deductable, so the wind. cost nothing, A saab rear window was $600 and an 09 camry was 1300. Cost me zip.
