So everyone who has one what pad company do you feel works best in combination with the flex?

I use the edge pads as I have the custom adapter which gives ability to use different size pads. I also have lake country pads and they worked just as well until I received the adapter.

I`m a believer in the LC 6.5 CCS pads. They work great! I may pick up an edge adapter and some small pads for doing tight areas so I don`t have to pull out the PC and small pads...

Using pads that are smaller than the backing plate? Isn`t that asking for trouble?

Ihave one of the first batch and have had no issues to me it is well worth it and as stated gives me the ability to use smaller pads and as I can easily move my pad to what ever machine that I`m using for the task be it PC/Udm,Flex or Rotary. It a very sturdy adapter and works flawlessly. Not cheap but well worth it in my opinion

It`s not just you...for general polishing I prefer 7.5`s as well. Though we may be the only two...:nervous:

i just ordered the adapter and yea not cheap but i think your right it is going to be worth it

plus i have many more options now for pad sizes which i did not have before

i like to have pad size options cause depending on what type of car i work on ithe size of the pad makes a big difference of how well i can do the job
