first off i did do a search and couldn`t find my exact answers so, heres my thread.

my uncle gave me a new husky 1550psi electric pressure washer yesterday and i set it up today. it has 2 attachments, one "foaming" attachment and another normal; high pressure attachment. well i played around with the high pressure attachment for a second and turned my eyes to the foaming attachment. i mixed in 1 ounce of duragloss 901 and 1 ounce of gold class with about 10 ounces of water and went to town. the foam was exactly like the foam i get from my normal hose attachment, nothing better at all. i`m thinking the tips have something to do with the delema, pics:

    high pressure attachment tip:

    foam attachment tip:

    foamer:

now what im getting at is the tip on the foamer is huge, where as the tip on the high pressure is small, thats where the thick foam comes from, right? is there a way i can modify my current attachment to make it spray thick foam or do i have to buy an attachment? during my search i was looking at all the attachments you guys have suggested and none of them ever showed the tip, just the side of the attachment. Even then, none of those had the same kind of connections my unit does, so i don`t think i can just go buy an attachment and be done with it, either.

    basically:

    can my attachment be modified?

if not, where can i find an attachment that will fit my unit?

    thanks guys!

i dont think you can modify the tips. they are either fixed or adjustable. here is a picture of the end of my cannon:

    closed

    open

    attached

the only thing the adjustment on the end does is create a fan or concentrated pattern. the nozzle is built into the injector. although mine has the option for injection rate adjustment on the top.
