Well, I`ll guess 10, though I`ve never measured it. I wash with about 3 gallons in the bucket and probably 2x this much used for rinses.
With Optimum No Rinse, I use 6 quarts to wash the body and 6 quarts to wash the tires and fenderwells.
For me, probably 15 gal, two 5 gal buckets and a 3 gal wheels bucket plus whatever comes out of the hose.

Are you looking into a watertank by anychance?
If you want to be more efficient, you could look into a pressure washer. They generally have a lower GPM rate than a regular hose and really aid in the washing process. Ofcourse I`m only speaking of lower PSI models. My electric Karscher only spits out about 1.8gpm at 1850PSI.
