i just noticed this today while reclaying the car.. im trying to do something about it fast to prevent more paint cracking or water/moisture/rust exposure. when it got dented upwards, the paint stressed and cracked and now resembles something like teeth. im not sure how to go about it .. ..the area that looks like "teeth" is bending back and forth. perhaps i could crack one side back and sand it down, and put some kind of glue under the other half? then crack the rough edges sand it all down again and repaint/clear everything. not really sure what to do .. any thoughts or help fellow autopians..

That goes way beyond my abilities... another bump for ya.
Sage advice from Greg Nichols: "Hey, Supe? When you`re trying to get the air bubble out of your syringe of Opti-Coat, don`t point it at your face, mmmkay?"

This is what I would do,sand all the jagged edges down to a point where you cant catch it with your finger nails, then clean throughly with alcohol ,then spray the whole area with liquid asphalt which can be found in parts store ,it`s used for rust proofing/sound proofing ,it`s really liquid tar in a spray can.

Make sure you do it neatly ,tape around all the areas to be be sprayed, make sure to have straight lines when taping .

    good luck.
